World Radiosport Team Championship

This is a video documentary and travelogue of the World Radiosport Team Championship 2000 in Bled, Slovenia by Dave Bell, W6AQ.

S50HQ with the special "ZRS" multiplier (IARU member-society HQ station) was put on the air once again by Slovenia Contest Club during IARU HF CHAMPIONSHIP 99 (July 10 - 11, 1999).

1. Although some of you have already hit the road, travelling to Slovenia, we would like to anounce latest news. Below is the roster of teams, station referees and locations. Draw decided at the meeting of the Organizing Committee, held on 14th of June, 2000.

The clock is ticking and we are only a few weeks away from the WRTC2000. Please find some additional information below.

1. All contest locations on exposed locations (hilltops) are now set. Regardless of the period of the year and expected temperatures in the 30 degrees C range, get ready for some scout conditions. During the competition, some of you will be operating from field day type set-ups. A bit heavier clothing and footwear is therefore highly recommended.

As you have seen in our previous communiqués, we have asked to provide all details about your arrival and special wishes and requirements on lodging. We would like to fix things well before you arrive to Bled, therefore we ask you again to provide information on your arrival and lodging, naturally if you still haven't done so.
